Each session room is equipped with a stationary Windows-based PC connected to an LCD projector and a laser pointer. Presentation slides should be prepared as a MS PowerPoint file (2003 or 2007 version). Presenters must load their presentation files in advance onto the session computer using thumb drives.
Macintosh or other device users will need to bring their own devices and adapters.
We recommend that you bring at least 2 copies of your presentation to the meeting for backup purposes. Only thumb drives are acceptable.
Preview Desk with the same PC set up as that in the session room is available at Crystal Ballroom Lobby (B1F). You can review your presentation in advance.
Scheduled time slots for presentation are 15 min for regular talks, 20 min for invited talks, and 35 min for plenary talks, including questions and discussions. Presenters are required to report to their session room and to the session Chairs at least 10 min prior to the start of their session.
The session Chairs must be present in the session room at least 15 min before the start of the session and must strictly observe the starting time and time limit of each paper.
Poster Presentations
1. Poster Size
The poster board assigned to each presenter has a dimension of 950 mm in width and 2,500 mm in height (3.12 feet wide and 8.20 feet high). Therefore, the recommended poster size is 900 mm x 1,800 mm. It would be no problem to make small changes to these. (자세한 이미지는 첨부파일 다운로드 후 확인) 2. Poster Session Schedule
Poster session will be held at the Crystal Ballroom 3, Lotte Hotel Jeju. All presenters are requested to affix and remove posters on the appropriate dates and time as indicated below to give a presentation and Q&A time on the assigned dates in front of their poster boards.
3. Poster Awards
The outstanding APEC 2013 Poster Awards will be given for the best poster presentations. APEC 2013 Poster Award winners will receive one of 4 iPad mini’s, 4 KRW 200,000, and 8 KRW 100,000 prizes. The awards will be presented during the closing ceremony.
4. Regulations
Ÿ The poster title, author(s)\'s name(s) and affiliation(s) should appear on the top. The message should be clear and understandable without oral explanation.
Ÿ Pushpins and glue will be available to attach your poster to the board.
Ÿ The organizing committee will not take responsibilities for any damages or losses of posters after removal time.
