The aims of the present study was to monitor the source and estimated PCDDs/PCDFs levels emitted from sludge incinerator of paper mill. Further our objective was to establish a relationship between source and environmental samples in order to obtain a visual trend focusing on the levels of PCDDs/PCDFs pollution in the environment. PCDDs/PCDFs levels of stack gas were found to be range between 6.47¢¦76.76 pgTEQ/N§©, soil 0.25¢¦2.90 pgTEQ/g and scallion 0.07¢¦0.14 pgTEQ/g respectively. It was observed that the isomer distribution between stack gas and environmental sample and isomer distribution of soil and scallion which were considered to be affected directly by dry/wet deposition was also similar in comparison to that of stack gas.
